Mekong Delta 3 Days 2 Nights

Start: 8:00am – Arrive: 5.00pm
7h30 a.m Our tour guide welcome you at Vietnam Adventure Tours office, then transfer to the City of My Tho by bus. During 1.5 hours bus drive to My Tho join activities of local people and enjoy nice scenery of green rice paddy fields. We visit Vinh Trang pagoda – biggest pagoda in Mekong delta. Continue going to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along Mekong River. During a boat cruise along Mekong River, you can see fish cages, floating houses on the river.
The boat take you to small canal, where is the place you totally escape from the busy town. The boat cruise in the coconut trees canal takes you to a coconut island in Ben Tre. We disembark and have a walk around the village. Stop at a local family to enjoy tropical fruit, taste honey tea, honey wine and listen to Vietnamese traditional music, performance by the villagers.
Continue walking on the village’s road to coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, show some handicraft made by coconut tree. Take a walk through village with two sides there are so many kind of fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, children in Mekong delta, take your time to have nice photos and enjoy nature scenery. Then, we head to the local restaurant. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food at here. Enjoy lunch under tree shadow you will feel the life is so beautiful.
After lunch you relax half an hour to walk around the village or biking, travel on the river to back the ferry. Then you will continue to Can Tho by A/C bus in two hours, arrived in Can Tho city – the heart of Mekong river. From this point, you can choose your accommodation in one of the following options:Hotel: Check in at hotel.
Home stay: You will be transferred to the riverside by “the King Local transport” which is a wagon pulled by a motorbike or horse. Meet the boat on the canal side to proceed to the Phong Dien village. Enjoy your nice dinner with your “Sweet Vietnamese Family”. Overnight in private wooden bungalow.

Morning: Breakfast at hotel, around 07.00am take the boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River. The boat trip later takes you to the Cai Rang floating market, which is the most original ones and bustling places of the region. Have you tried the Vietnamese vermicelli noodle? So, you will go and see how it is made.Afternoon: you will trek along the village to get in touch with the local people. Here, you have a chance to see “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one bamboo, popular bridge in Mekong delta. Leaving the village, back the riverside, free time for lunch there. After lunch, proceed to Chau Doc and continue the tour to visit Tra Su, getting to the wild birds Sanctuary, cruising smoothly with small boats to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest, watching storks, cranes and other tropical birds.
Arrive in Chau Doc, check in hotel and overnight in Chau Doc.

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, visitors take the nice motorized boat trip through the floating village to visit the fish farm and to see how the people in Mekong Delta raise fish on their floating house. Visit the Champa minorities with their traditional towel weaving village, have a look at their Muslim temple and the Arabic class for their children.The boat will return to Chau Doc and our a/c bus will take you to an Incense-stick factory for a visit then return to Cantho, have lunch there and then, our bus will transfer you back HCM City around 5.00pm – 6.00pm. End tour. Say goodbye and see you again.

Option combine speed boat to Phnompenh – Cambodia:
After breakfast, transfer to a speed boat for the final part of the journey to Phnom Penh. Arrive at Sisowath tourist dock in Phnom Penh at around 2pm. End of services.Finish your Exit to Cambodia through the lower Mekong river. Visa can make at the border.
